Checking off Bucket List Items.

Guys – it has been FAR too long since I’ve published a post on here. It wasn’t intentional. It’s funny to me that I so enjoyed blogging at one point in my life; somewhere along the line it lost it’s appeal. As I said, it wasn’t an intentional break, I just slowly stopped blogging on the regular.

That said, I’m really wanting to start writing/recapping again. I’m not sure how many of you are still out there; however, it’s nice to publish posts even if it’s just for me. I’ve enjoyed looking back at previous posts as somewhat of a ‘journal’ or ‘scrapbook’ from years past.

It’d be hard to thoroughly catch you up on the last ten months of my life –  so I’ll just summarize: I now have an (almost) two year old, I’m still working as a part-time server, family life is great, I’ve started my own photography business, and…I’ve partnered with a friend to start up a brand new podcast: Minimalist Moms.

Alright, so that was kind of a plug. Isn’t that what a self-titled blog is for? Ha.

Really though, I’m excited to share that I’ve started a podcast with my friend, Megan Ericson. It had been a ‘bucket list item’ (so to speak) that both Megan and I had desired to ‘check off’. We came up with the idea back in the late spring and have finally started to release episodes on iTunes. It’s definitely been a labor-of-love (and there are still learning curves); however, we are starting to get the hang of things!

I hope you’ll check it out and recommend it to anyone you know looking to downsize their lives (in order to experience the freedom that comes with a minimalist mindset.)
