celebrating my nephews second birthday. It feels like we were just sitting in the hospital waiting room, waiting for little Landon to make his grand debut.
baking (and burning) holiday treats. I’m just not a baker. Precise measuring isn’t for me – I think that’s why I enjoy the freedom of cooking. I figure I should just leave the baking to my sister and cousin for any future family events.
listening to The Popcast & NPR’S Pop Culture Happy Hour. Both of these have kept me quite entertained as I complete my morning jog. The banter keeps me going as I run on the track at my gym (an otherwise boring endeavor.)
reading Go Set a Watchman. I couldn’t decide if I wanted to read this (due to some negative attributes regarding beloved Atticus Finch); however, I figured I couldn’t critique until I gave it a try.
anticipating our trip to New York City at the end of the month. I am so looking forward to our annual trip to New York City. We plan to stay over the holiday this time – maybe even running in Central Park on New Year’s Eve? We shall see.
watching Christmas movies! My favorites are White Christmas, It’s A Wonderful Life and The Santa Clause. What are your favorites? I wish there were more decent Christmas movies on Netflix.
ordering (too many) blanket scarves. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to wear them as the weather has been in the 50s/60s over the past week; I’m hoping temperatures will drop by the end of the month. C’mon snow!
How have you been spending November?
I’ll leave you with this photo of Charlotte meeting Santa Clause…
