Thanksgiving Day 2015.

After dropping off Charlotte at our neighbors house, Marty and I headed out to run in the Columbus Turkey Trot. The weather was unseasonably warm (fifty-ish degrees) and sunny (much better than two years ago when it was around twenty degrees all day.)

The race was more difficult than I expected. I completed three miles and hit a wall – having to walk/run the last two miles. Marty finished the five miles around fifty-one minutes while I was closer to an hour.

Around noon, we headed down to Cincinnati to celebrate Thanksgiving with my side of the family. We enjoyed a nice afternoon together playing Apples to Apples, drinking Pinot Noir (yum) and enjoying a delicious feast.

On Saturday, we headed to the Morgan House for our traditional day after Thanksgiving brunch. Our trip to the Morgan House is one of my favorite traditions of the year. Not only do I love spending time with my mom and sister but it’s hard not to catch the Christmas spirit when walking throughout this hidden gem.

This is just my favorite time of year. I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving, as well!
