Welcome Charlotte Rose.

Our sweet girl, Charlotte Rose Boden, arrived on Tuesday afternoon at 4:50PM. Marty and I couldn’t be more smitten.

She is quite a hearty eater and -so far- seems to be a very mellow little lady.

I hope to share her birth story on her within the next few days.

Thank you for all of your love and sweet words during this precious time!!

  1. oooh, heavens! she’s gorgeous, and i lovvve that name – charlotte rose ā¤ so pretty! excited for the birth story and photos and all the mothering stories to come! enjoy & congrats!!

  2. She is so pretty, Diane! I am looking forward to reading her birth story and seeing her in person soon! I want to bring you dinner over sometime!

    1. Thanks Em! I am almost finished writing down her birth story just need to add a few more details. I will say that labor was so much better than I ever expected – after the epidural! I truthfully didn’t really feel a thing after I had it. I was so glad because pushing was the thing that terrified me the most but the worst thing about it was just doing a crunching position over and over. I just became exhausting after a while but I got her out fairly quickly so it wasn’t too big of a deal! šŸ™‚

  3. What a beauty! I love all of that hair! Babies in my family are notorious for not getting hair until age 3 or 4 ;( so I’m hoping our twins don’t get that from me! I can’t wait to hear your birth story. Xoxo

    1. Thanks Tobi!! I figured she would have a lot of hair because both Marty and I had a ton at birth – actually he had way more than I did but we both have really thick hair as adults too. Hoping to share her birth story in the next couple of days. I just need to get a minute to finish up! šŸ™‚

    1. Thanks Britt! šŸ™‚ Marty and I can’t believe how peaceful and calm she is – definitely doesn’t take after her mother šŸ˜‰ We are hoping that she stays this way as she continues to grow!

  4. Congratulations!!!! She’s so beautiful and look at that gorgeous head of hair!!! Can’t wait to read the full story. xoxo
