Over the weekend, I had the pleasure of taking some newborn pictures for my friend Austin and his wife, Jen. Their little one, Ariella is just over a month old (her due date was actually a couple of days ago! The little peanut came four weeks early!)
I’m still learning how to work with natural lighting (and my camera) but it’s a fun process nonetheless. I am so thankful that Austin and Jen thought of me to take their family photos. The experience for a new photographer is quite invaluable (and who doesn’t want to spend time catching up with old friends?!)
How gorgeous is that little peanut? Such great pictures! I expect many of your own in a few months 🙂
Wow, you’re phenomenal! Can you come out to LA and take head shots for me! 😉
Amazing photos Di! What a cute baby
oh my goodness, was stunning photographs! such a sweet baby and captured so well by your camera 🙂 you should submit these to ontobaby 🙂
Ohhh my gosh, what a cutie!! Great photos!
Wow!! So amazing! 🙂 What fun time to ‘play photographer’!! So beautiful!
Thank you for the compliment! I hope to keep ‘playing’ so I can keep getting better 🙂
You’re so talented!! Have you thought of starting a photog business?
I have been kicking the idea around! I think I’m just embarrassed to start and fail. You know? I’m also trying to figure out a name but keep coming back to Diane Boden Photography. I want something more creative but nothing has come to mind! Ugh.
Good job with the photos! It definitely takes lots of practice but you’ll get even better over time with more practice. 🙂 It’s also great practice for pictures of your own baby girl!
I can’t wait to practice with my little one. Poor girl – doesn’t know how many photo shoots she’ll be a part of! 😉
There are few things in life cuter than a photo of a dad and his baby. So beautiful! I love the black and white 🙂
I totally agree. Father+baby photos are the best!
These are fantastic!! I love the B&W and the daddy/baby shots! ❤
