Sweaters, Apple Cider & Jack O Lanterns: 2013 Fall Bucket List.

I cannot tell you how excited I am that fall is FINALLY here! I have been counting down the days until I could crack open my first can of pumpkin; the time has come my friends.

So there is the canned pumpkin – but what else is on my list for fall this year?

Bucket List

I shared this list in my Little Life Updates: August post; however, I wanted to discuss it a bit more!

I have already set up several double dates for October so I can check some of these things off the list (and enjoy them with friends rather than just Marty and I!)

Last night, we spent some time wandering around the Columbus Oktoberfest! We had a good time enjoying traditional Bavarian pretzels and people watching.

What else? I am so looking forward to the weather getting a bit cooler so Marty and I can go on our candy corn walk and watch Hocus Pocus on our front porch. Side note: did you know that there are severalscarymovies from the 90s on YouTube? Gotta love it.

Have you done anything on your fall bucket list?

  1. I’m so excited for fall too, I love the changing of the seasons šŸ™‚ Your fall to-do list is lovely, I love carving a pumpkin, I always do it with my sister. In the UK we have bonfire night on the 5th November which I’m really looking forward to!

  2. Oktoberfest looks fun! I love scary movies and Youtube is amazing for finding them! My boyfriend and I try to watch a bunch of scary movies during this season. But I’m more of a Texas Chainsaw Massacre sort of gal, lol.

  3. Well it wasn’t really on my bucket list but I had 2 bags of frozen butternut squash with cinnamon at 2 am the other night when I came home after a night out STARVING. LOL!!! And yes, I microwaved them, I did not eat them frozen, LMFAO!

  4. I think I mentioned this before, but I am in love with your Fall Bucket list idea and I think that this weekend I need to make my own. As long as I remember it will happen!

HP is probably the best on the list.

Also the haunted house. I have always wanted to go to the Reformatory in Mansfield but can never find anyone to go with me šŸ˜¦

    1. You totally should – it really helps you stick to the things you want to do while they are in season šŸ™‚

HP is definitely the best! Gosh – I love everything HP!

I’ve driven past the Reformatory but have never been either. I’ve been to a couple near Mansfield and Mt. Vernon though! I also went to the Haunted Hoochie in Columbus one year but it was really lame!

  5. I’m so excited for fall too! San Francisco still has a little bit of summer left but I can’t wait to go apple picking, taking my nannied kids to the pumpkin patch and bringing back the scarfs! Ah.

    1. I’m going to take the kids I nanny to the pumpkin patch too. I’m hoping to go the second week of October. It was really fun taking them last year šŸ™‚ PS – Still so jealous that you live in San Fran. I absolutely LOVE that city and bet it is even better in the fall!

    1. I’m with ya- c’mon sweater weather! Hopefully next week will start cooling down a bit more. It’s nice for my morning/afternoon walks but I’m not a fan of the hot evenings/nights! I love laying in bed when there is that crisp, cool air breezing through the windows!

    1. I am SO jealous of all of the rain happening in your ‘neck of the woods’! I wish it was a bit more rainy here in Columbus! PS- Yet another reason we would be great friends! I could totally see us catching up over coffee on a rainy afternoon!
