Glorious Day: Easter 2013.

Hey Everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful Easter weekend. I wanted to start this post by apologizing for my absence on here over the past couple of weeks. It has been difficult to balance a chaotic work schedule (I have been working 65-70 hour weeks – yikes!), church commitments, Marty, family, friends, workouts, and school all while trying to maintain some sanity but I am hoping thatย Wholeย Foods will start to cut down on my hours (they’ve hired another new girl to take over some of my hours – thankfully!) so that everything else will be much easier to balance. ๐Ÿ˜€

Anyways, now that that’s out of the way, let’s talk Easter – shall we?

Marty and I were visited by the Easter bunny on Sunday morning…

Easter Weekend 010

After we ‘opened’ our baskets, we headed off to church and then over to my parents for our traditional holiday breakfast bread and more Easter bunny gifts.

Easter Weekend 012

I must say that the Easter Bunny was good to me this year. Wicked tickets and a juicer = WOW! Thank you Easter Bunny (and mom and dad ๐Ÿ˜‰ )

On another note…I decided to go ahead and get bangs ๐Ÿ™‚

How was your Easter weekend? Was there anything you wanted to do but didn’t?ย We didn’t get around to painting eggs this year ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

  1. It looks like you had a really lovely Easter, it’s great that you got to see so much family ๐Ÿ™‚ I hope they do cut your hours down a bit, that’s insane! Your bangs look fantastic!

  2. Ok maybe I just read your blog too much on google reader and never actually came over but your site looks great. Love the layout. And the new bangs ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. I love your new haircut! Very cute:) It didn’t feel like Easter this year b/c I worked Sunday night. I wish we would have dyed eggs this year too- it was always one of my favorite traditions as a kid.

  4. I was just going to say…did you get bangs?! I love ’em. They look great with your long hair. What a beautiful Easter celebration. I love the pop of color with the tulips.

  5. My goodness 70 hours of work!? That is insane no wonder you don’t have time to read! I am loving your new hair! Yay for a great Easter! Mine was wonderful too!

  6. Very cute hair! This Easter was really strange since I wasn’t home — it didn’t even feel like Easter at all. For the first time in my life, I didn’t go to church on Easter (I still feel guilty about this, I wish we would’ve found a church in Arizona). It was also my first Easter away from my family, so that was kind of sad. It was nice to relax by the pool all day, though, I won’t deny that!

  7. Awesome recap. And awesome haircut! I love the new bangs ๐Ÿ™‚

You got some great things for Easter! Wicked AND a juicer?!

Wow, I’m glad they are cutting down your hours a bit as 65-70 is insane!

  8. Ah, the your bangs were the first thing I noticed in your photos! I am so glad you went for it because girl, they look incredible!
