gingerbread coffee.

I don’t typically go to Trader Joes for groceries; however, every time that I shop there, I’m always pleased. I love this store! Great prices on organic food, tasty desserts, yummy samples, delicious wines – I need to go more often.

Oh, and did I mention…the coffee?? My whole reason for this post is Trader Joe’s coffee. I’ve been on the hunt for a great cup for about two months now. Stauff’s is my favorite in Columbus but the location is inconvenient, Starbucks isn’t as good as I used to think, Caribou is always disappointing and Crimson Cup, well, let’s just say I’m not a fan. I considered buying a Keurig but after borrowing my parents for a week (thanks mom), I’ve decided the price for the K-Cups isn’t worth it (we just drink too much coffee).

Anyways, as I was on my way home from work this afternoon, I decided to stop at Trader Joes. As I browsed each aisle of the store, I stumbled upon three full shelves of coffee;  Trader Joe’s coffee – yes, why didn’t I think of this before?

Of all the types, I settled on the Gingerbread Coffee. I thought it would be a fun, festive blend to brew for the rest of December. To my delight – it is! I brewed a pot earlier this evening and (although Marty and I agreed it isn’t a coffee to drink year round) we found it really enjoyable. Finally! Finally a cup of coffee that I can enjoy. I know it may sound silly, but my morning cup of coffee is one of my favorite parts of the day (it really is the simple things ;)). I can’t wait to enjoy the Gingerbread Coffee and am looking forward to exploring more of Trader’s Joes blends.
