banana ice cream.

Okay…so it’s not technically ice cream, but close enough. This tasty dessert is a worthwhile creation (and it doesn’t take that long to make)! I just got back from the gym and was wanting something sweet, yet, healthy(ish) before bed. I remembered that I had frozen a couple of bananas a few days ago – what is better than a frozen banana with Nutella spread on top – I’ll tell you…this! I popped a banana into the blender, threw in a spoon (with about 1/2 serving) of peanut butter and drizzled with chocolate sauce. There you have it – simplicity.

Banana Ice Cream (with Peanut Butter and Chocolate)
1 banana *FROZEN*
1 tbsp peanut butter
1/2 tbsp of chocolate sauce

Freeze bananas a day or two prior to creating this dish. Blend banana until smooth, creamy texture. Pour into a bowl and top with a soup full of peanut butter. Drizzle with chocolate sauce. *Note: This can obviously be made with more or less peanut butter and chocolate sauce to make more or less healthy 🙂
