Oh Glorious Day: Easter 2014.

I hope everyone had a Happy Easter!

Easter Eggs

We began the Easter weekend with some egg coloring :) We aren’t the most creative people but it’s a fun tradition nonetheless.

Easter 4

Easter: My morning began with an Easter egg hunt that ended with a mixtape (which included a song recorded by Marty) :) I didn’t even realize it was his voice until my lack of reaction led him to tell me. Oops! Next we headed to church and then were off to my parents house for Easter baskets and breakfast.

Easter 7Easter 2

After eating our traditional holiday breakfast bread and enjoying some time together, we all headed over to my aunts house for our annual Easter celebration.

Easter 8

Oh how I love family get togethers. On top of it all, it couldn’t have been a more beautiful day; the sun was shining, it wasn’t too hot or too cold, and the rain stayed away. Thank you Lord!

How was your Easter weekend? Was there anything you wanted to do but didn’t?

As always, love these photos! I did laundry on Easter lol. But I remember getting a new dress when I was little and having a basket. Oddly, I didn’t like candy very much back then. Only now as an adult am I a chocolate hound, lol.

Cute eggs! I haven’t dyed Easter eggs in so long, maybe next year we will do it for fun. :) I spent my whole day studying for a Biochem test…20 more days until I am officially done with school!

Thank you – we aren’t the most creative people but I thought they turned out alright. Also, bummer about all of the studying but that’s so exciting that you’re almost done!! Hang in there :)

You just made me realize that I haven’t had a single peep this year!!! And I also didn’t die eggs. Geez! At least I did spend time with family to appreciate the reason for everything.

Well, I didn’t really celebrate Easter this year, however, after looking at all your pics, I feel like I did :)

My Easter was lovely! I went for a long morning run, got baked goods from my favorite bakery, and made an Asian themed dinner for my family!! LOVE LOVE.

Your family seems so lovely Di! My Easter was spent mainly in bed, got to make up for it now!

Dinner with Aunt Diane tonight! I think more of his dinner ended up on his face (and tray) than in his mouth! 🙈 #nephew #sweetboy Twenty-five weeks!
