Hello again from NYC! We’re just getting ready to spend our third day (and possibly our last) in the city. We didn’t end up heading to Grimaldi’s Pizzeria or the Staten Island Ferry yesterday due to the snowy/sleet weather. It was definitely more of a day to spend bundle up inside somewhere so we spent the day in various bookshops within SOHO and the Village.
Our two favorites were Housing Works and The Strand. Both of which were very different from one another but we found them both enjoyable. What’s better on a snowy afternoon than a cup of coffee and a good bookstore?

We ended the day with The Lite Choice frozen yogurt. Marty wasn’t a huge fan (said it tasted like frozen flavored water
) but I gobbled mine up…and some of his too. Hey, when in Rome!
Today our tentative plans consist of Times Square and Grand Central Station! Not long now until 2013
Have you ever been to New York? If so, what was your favorite place to visit?
Do you have a favorite bookshop you’ve visited? We have a great one in Columbus – the Book Loft in German Village – but we’re always looking for fun ones to visit while on vacation

Oh, I love your pictures, Di! I love New York City, and I can’t wait to go back. If you are looking for a fun place to eat, I love going to Katz diner. It’s where they filmed the famous scene from When Harry Met Sally!
I wish I would’ve known this! We just got back
We are hoping to make another trip in the spring or summer (my husband has family that lives there and wants us to dog sit!) Anyways, we’ll have to check it out next time!
You take such beautiful photos. I must admit, I’m rather jealous of your skill =)
Thanks Jessie! I think the camera helps big time but thanks nonetheless
Your pictures are fantastic!
Thank you!
these are all such beautiful pictures, glad you are having a blast!
Thank you Alex
It looks like you’re having a great time! Do you take pictures with your phone, or with a camera? They always turn out great!
Thanks Em! I have a Canon Rebel EOS camera – it has definitely been the best gift I’ve ever received!
