Another Tuesday, another Tuesday Thoughts post!
1.) Today is election day. I’m so glad that all of the political advertisements are going to be done and over with. I’m not sure about the state you live in but Ohio is BOMBARDED with ad after ad. Despite my candidate preference, I can’t stand to hear either side trash one another. Talk about misinforming the public. It’s not to say there isn’t a bit of truth in the ads but I really think people need to look into the issues themselves; they need to make an informed decision as opposed to going by the propaganda from the ‘other guy’.
That said (if you are of legal age): get out and vote! Research the candidates, form your own opinion and vote! What a privilege we have in this country to voice our opinions.
2.) Over the weekend I tried a delicious pumpkin steamer recipe I found here. The thing I love the most is how simple it is to put together. Let me know if you try it out
3.) Not too much longer until Thanksgiving! I can’t wait – it’s my favorite holiday The Columbus Turkey Trot also happens to occur on Thanksgiving. I can’t wait to start my morning with a nice 5K.
4.) Halloween recap: It wasn’t the best Halloween I’ve ever had, but it’s always fun to pass out candy! The weather was around 40 degrees and there was a slight drizzle that never seemed to go away. We had maybe 50 children stop by at the one hour mark so we decided to head inside and watch a scary movie on Netflix instead!
I don’t have much else going on this week. Hopefully I’ll get some recipes on here soon!
