Last Saturday night, my family threw me a surprise graduation party. I was told that we were going to be celebrating Father’s Day on Saturday (instead of Sunday) so Marty and I headed over to my parents house, only to be surprised by some of Marty’s family, my family and a few good friends. The evening was a lot of fun and it was nice to catch up with my cousins and aunts. On the menu = Mexican cuisine = my FAVORITE. I made myself some black bean tacos with Marty’s homemade guacamole and salsa. YUM. I couldn’t have asked for a more laid back, relaxed evening.
In other news…Marty and I leave for our three week trip on Monday. I’m beyond excited! We decided to redo our route and visit the Southern states first and then we’ll head up to Oregon and a few of the North-Western states. Ah. I can hardly wait for Monday!
